6 Keys for Writing Powerful Sales Letters

1.) Your sales letter needs a powerful headline. Use your number one benefit that someone will profit from using whatever it is you are selling.

2.) Your whole letter should "sell the sizzle - not the steak". Create a romance between the buyer and your product. Do it just like they do in an automobile commercial. NOTE! I said automobile NOT car. Get the sizzle my shizzle?!

3.) Be sure your product rocks. You can't sell sizzle if you have a crap product. So for a sales letter to be good, you first have to have a dynamite product or service to get excited about.

4.) After you use your number 1 benefit as an eye-stopping headline, use any other benefits your product offers as sub-headlines to break up your paragraphs.

5.) Make your paragraphs easy-to-read. Paragraphs shouldn't be any longer than 5 sentences. Put double space between each paragraph. Make your sales letter as easy looking to read as a Dr. Seuss book.

6.) Don't try to write a 4-page sales letter if your a newbie. Sure, the more you tell, the more you sell. Instead write 4 individual sales letters and mail the other three as follow-ups on all your sales leads.

7.) Bonus pointer, re-state your number-one benefit in the end of your letter in the form of a P.S. and ask for their order. Give them a bonus if they order now or before a certain date like "within 15 days".
