Bringing back visitors to your bog or website can only spell profits for you. Having a “sticky” website (brings visitors back to your site) is what all successful webmasters strive for. And here is some suggested ways to bring back the heard niche buyers.
.) Give people the freshest, hottest information articles you can find in your niche. And give it for free. Do this and add your recommendation (your e-book or product or affiliate e-book or product) to help them achieve their desires or solve their problems. As they get to know you, they trust you and buy from you.
.) Be sure to update your information 2 –3 times a week with small 500 – 750 word, easy-to-read articles.
.) Publish your own e-zine or newsletter. Start with monthly and then eventually bi-weekly. You can keep it short to begin with, just make it exciting with plugs for all your niche market products or affiliate links. The key is to be frequent enough so your subscribers will remember you. Always ask them to recommend your publication to others for added names.
.) Don’t just write content, make it exciting by making it interactive. Treat your articles as ad copy. Tell them to do something you want them to do like “go here now and visit this recommended site” or “click here now to get your copy”
.) Adding a “bookmark” of some sort to every page also helps to get return visits. Put in bold print, “press control + D to bookmark this site” or “IMPORTANT - bookmark this site! (WE update material every few days.)”
.) Treat your content as a TV show. "In our next edition we will be looking at how to . . . over the next few months we will be looking at ways to . . . etc., etc. keep them hanging always, ready for your next issue!
.) Ask your visitors for comments or questions. Offer a freebie for their response to a questionnaire that you create. Or you can talk to them over the phone or by e-mail. Do whatever is most comfortable for you, but do get their feedback so you can provide them with better targeted content. Especially if it is a testimonial!
.) Adding a picture of yourself works wonders too. People like to know the author. After all, your are not a cyber-animated character. People want to know you! After all, they are your fans!
